A garden is a creative zone - full of things burgeoning and becoming - planned and unplanned. You will use garden folklore, mythology, fiction and non-fiction writing prompts to help you discuss and explore the emotional and dramatic potential of gardens, with the opportunity to write a variety of short fiction and/or poetry inspired by these earthly paradises.

Local novelist, poet, and teacher Kate Innes will lead this inspiring creative writing workshop to help bring your ideas to fruition, amongst Moongate’s beautiful borders. The workshop for adults age 17 and above will be a supportive, positive environment for those new to writing and for the experienced. Constructive feedback will be provided.
